Harris® 5356 Aluminum Magnesium 3/64 inch alloy is very commonly used for higher strength welding of 5XXX and 6XXX base materials. Its higher columnar strength offers improved feeding.

• Designed for welding non-heat treatable base alloys, specifically 5XXX series alloys
• Welds 5XXX series alloys when 40,000 psi tensile strength is not required
• Very good general purpose welding wire
• Most widely used aluminum welding alloy
